Hexmaps for Deep Carbon Observatory

The original maps by Dirk Dietwieller Leichy are gorgeous, but the isometric style is not great for hexcrawling, especially when using a virtual tabletop. This pack provides alternate versions of each map made for hexcrawls.

What's included:

• hand drawn hexmaps (in .png format) of The Drowned Lands and The Profundal Zone
• a labelled and unlabelled version for each region
• a pdf with all versions for printing

I've done my best to emulate the original art style without any direct copying. As in the original maps, each location has a number associated with the page-spread in the module where that location is detailed, this is why many locations have the same number.

For VTT use, I recommend using the unlabelled maps. Use fog to reveal only what the players have explored or can see. Use the VTT's text tool to add labels that can be hidden and revealed, or have players label the map themselves. See the last screenshot for an example in Owlbear Rodeo.
